Twenty-seven districts make up Zone 8 Australia and New Zealand. Of those, only one grew in membership last Rotary year. What did the only district that really grew do?

District 9640 started by giving each club a book, Creatures of Habit,  then it made sure that club members read the book.  Then implemented the book.  The year before the book, D9640 lost 3% of its membership, last year it grew by 2.5%.
