A word from DG Prath

DG Prath Prathapan —

Read District Governor Prath's July message here.

Hello presidents of clubs in District 9560 and all dedicated members.

The two years since I became District Governor Nominee have gone very quickly.  Now as the District Governor, I would like to connect with you all so that we can develop a friendly and cooperative environment for us to work together. The District changeover lunch on 1 July went well and was attended by 110 people. I thank you all for the best wishes.

I believe that the clubs and the members are the backbone of Rotary. The more energised they are, the better will be the outcomes for Rotary. I am aware that you all are doing amazing things around the country. I want to join hands with you all and continue and enhance what we are doing.

At present I am doing my official DG visits to clubs in Darwin.

I will be making two trips to Queensland soon. The first one will start on 20 August and will cover the Cairns, Townsville and Mackay groups. In October I will be visiting the areas of Rockhampton, Gladstone and Hervey Bay.

Please feel free to contact me with any ideas you have.

My wife Inthu and I are looking forward to the year ahead of us and want to work cooperatively with you all.

My background information is included elsewhere in the newsletter for your information.

I will be contacting each club president sometime in the future for a chat.

Regards to you all.
