New Club Constitution and Bylaws available after 2019 Council on Legislation

Michael Buckeridge —

Every three years, representatives from all Rotary districts around the world meet in Chicago, Illinois, USA, to consider changes to the constitutional documents that govern Rotary International. This year’s Council considered more than 100 proposals. The resulting Club Constitution is available for adoption by clubs.

The new model Rotary Club Constitution, including the 2019 Council on Legislation changers, is now available on the Rotary District 9570 web site under the "Members" section "Model Constitution and Bylaws 2019".    The Club Constitution has been modified to suit the Queensland Office of Fair Trading requirements and those modifications have been approved by Rotary International.  Clubs cannot modify the Club Constitution except for adding their club name and location. However, they can modify the Model Club Bylaws.
