In my path towards DG ship, I have been raising money to support some worthy causes. As the first one I awarded Ten thousand dollars to Smith family. #People of Action

Last night I had the pleasure of handing over ten thousand dollars to the Smith family.

The Smith Family funds and monitors children who live in poverty to make sure they have something to eat, and attend school and perform well. In Australia 1 in 6 children live in poverty, and as Rotarians we recognise this is not good enough in Australia. 

Over a period of time I will be making further donations to some more worthy causes.
