Zone 8 Director Jessie Harman has announced the dates and formats for the Zone 8 Conferences for 2023 and 2024.

I am pleased to provide an update on the Zone 8 Conference (Institute) for 2023 and 2024. 

Zone 8 Conference (Institute) 2023 

This year’s Zone 8 Conference (Institute) will be held on Saturday and Sunday 28 & 29 October 2023. It will be held as a virtual event to enable members to prioritise in-person attendance at the Rotary International Convention in Melbourne. Past District Governors Leanne Jaggs from the Rotary Club of Manukau Sunrise and Karen Purdue from the Rotary Club of Invercargill Sunrise, New Zealand will co-chair the virtual event, themed ‘Moments that Matter’. Please save the date and watch out for more information in coming months. In 2023, training for Governors Elect and Nominee will take place in Sydney from 17-20 October. 

Zone 8 Conference (Institute) 2024

In 2024, the Conference will return to its in-person format, to be held in Queenstown, New Zealand from 1 – 3 November 2024. Training for District Governors Elect and District Governors Nominee will take place from 30 October – 1 November 2024 at the same location. I am delighted to advise that Past District Governor, Leanne Jaggs will be convenor for the Conference (Institute). Leanne has appointed PDG Karen Purdue and PP Lee-Ann Murray from the Rotary Club of Queenstown to co-chair the event. Leanne will provide further details in due course.
