So what do our numbers really show us?

Adele Hughes —

LETS HAVE THE BAD NEWS FIRST - our membership numbers have dropped to 917 as at 1/7/2020. AND it's interesting to note that the female content of membership hasn't changed over the past 5 years. NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS!!

Some of our Clubs have been diligently working away at attracting new members, and welcoming members into their Clubs.

These figures were taken from Rotary Club Central on 29.9.2020.

CONGRATULATIONS TO - Bundaberg Central (1), Bundaberg Sunrise (1), Emerald Sunrise (2), Gladstone Sunrise (1), Gladstone Midday (1), d9570 Passport (1), Hervey Bay City (2), Mackay West (1), Rockhampton Fitzroy (2), Rockhampton North (1), Rockhampton South (1), South Gladstone (2), Yeppoon (3). If your Club's name doesn't appear here, your new member hasn't been reported by your Club Secretary.

Obviously some of these numbers reflect Rotarians who have transferred from other Clubs, and we have lost 4 members, so we have a net increase in membership to 29.9.2020 of 13. If this trend continues, we would be at 969 members by 30/6/2021.

MORE IMPORTANTLY we need to keep working at retaining our existing members.

PLEASE JOIN OUR MONTHLY District Membership Zoom with District Chair Marilyn Rayment - third Monday of each month. The invitation goes to all clubs in each Group.
