Celebrate 2024 Australia Day awardees in February newsletter.

The February District Newsletter will be distributed in the first few days of February, just a few days after the 2024 Australia Day celebrations take place. We would like to publish news of the following in our February issue:

Australia Day Awards

1. Awards to members of our Rotary family in the Australia Day Honours list, e.g. Order of Australia.
2. Awards to members of our Rotary family or clubs in local government awards, e.g. Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, Community Event of the year, etc. 

* Rotary family may include Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, RotaKids, or clubs/groups of clubs. 

For these awards, please provide:

• Name of person
• Name of club
• Name of Award e.g. Darwin City Council Citizen of the Year, and where applicable a very short (one sentence) description of the reason e.g. "For service to the community through Rotary ..."
• One photo 

Australia Day Events/Activities 

If your club/group of clubs is involved in an Australia Day Event or Activity, please submit one paragraph describing your participation and a maximum of two photos. 

We would like these contributions by Monday, 29 January 2024. Let's reflect, respect, celebrate!
