Key highlights as at 31 January 2024

Zone 8 ended the month of January 2024 with a net loss of 290 Rotarians since 1 July. This follows the usual trend: membership dips when the January invoice is released, as members re-evaluate their commitment to Rotary. 5 districts, however had positive growth.

  • 1st D9920 + 37 (Parts of New Zealand and Pacific Islands)
  • 2nd D9660 +16 (Parts of NSW, Australia)
  • 3rd D9820 +12 (Parts of VIC, Australia)
  • Highest % net growth: D9920 (3.35%)
  • Highest % of female members: D9640 (37.79%)
  • Highest % of members under 40: D9910 (7.27%)
  • Highest % for retention: D9820 (95.14%)
  • Highest % of clubs with membership goals: D9640 (96.43%)
  • Highest no. of membership leads admitted to Rotary: D9910 (5)

New club development

Since 1 July we have welcomed 10 new clubs:

  • 3 Rotary clubs
  • 3 Rotaract clubs
  • 4 satellite clubs

The newest club is:

  • Rotaract Club of Wee Waa, D9660 (Parts of NSW, Australia)
