Key highlights as at 31 January 2024
Zone 8 ended the month of January 2024 with a net loss of 290 Rotarians since 1 July. This follows the usual trend: membership dips when the January invoice is released, as members re-evaluate their commitment to Rotary. 5 districts, however had positive growth.

- 3rd D9820 +12 (Parts of VIC, Australia)
- Highest % net growth: D9920 (3.35%)
- Highest % of female members: D9640 (37.79%)
- Highest % of members under 40: D9910 (7.27%)
- Highest % for retention: D9820 (95.14%)
- Highest % of clubs with membership goals: D9640 (96.43%)
- Highest no. of membership leads admitted to Rotary: D9910 (5)

New club development
Since 1 July we have welcomed 10 new clubs:
- 3 Rotary clubs
- 3 Rotaract clubs
- 4 satellite clubs
The newest club is:
