The members of the Rotary Club of Ascot in D9465 have participated in the “Centurion” program for many years, voluntarily committing AUD 100.00 to The Rotary Foundation on an annual basis.

For the 2021-22 year the participating members agreed that the funds would be contributed to Polio Plus. Thirteen club members made contributions in 2021-22, their AUD 1,300 matched two to one by the Gates Foundation resulted in a total contribution to Rotary’s program to eradicate Polio of AUD 3,900.00.

So for the cost of less than the purchase of one cup of coffee per week the result was AUD 3,900.00 to Polio Plus.

Something to think about for those Rotarians who participate in the “Centurion” program and more importantly something to think about for those Rotarians who don’t participate in the program but could.
