A big shout out to D9920 in New Zealand on the chartering of the Rotary Club of Counties Manukau. Starting a new club and inducting 23 new members takes effort, dedication, and patience. The process began over 12 months ago but the real work and planning took place within three weeks, after PDG Andy’s new club development tour of New Zealand.

The club is composed of energetic and focused young professionals representing law, technology, real estate, hospitality, commercial and retail industries. DG Allan Smith says that they are ‘a very strong team, that will leverage their skills and networks to serve the people of Counties Manukau and enjoy friendship and networking together’.

As a result, D9920 moves into top place on the membership leader board with +23 since 1 July 2022.

D9660 moves into second place with +22 and D9560 is in third place with +12.

Highlights from our Zone include:

• Highest % net growth: D9920 (2.03%)
• Highest % of female members: D9640 (37.87%)
• Highest % of members under 40: D9640 (9.27%)
• Highest % of clubs with membership goals: D9910 (100%)
• Highest no. of membership leads admitted to Rotary: D9620 (3)
