Key highlights as at 30 September 2023
Overall, the zone is +279 which is encouraging, though it follows the usual cyclical trend. At this time of year, we normally see an increase in membership, up until the invoice period. We are down by 1,606 members, as at this time last year.
D9620 leads the zone with +48 Rotarians since 1 July 2023. This is followed by D9640 with +34 and D9660 with + 30.

- Highest % of clubs with membership goals: D9640 (96.43%)

New club development
Since 1 July we have welcomed two Rotary clubs and one satellite club:
- Rotary Club of Briz Pride, D9620. This club originally started as a Rotaract pride club, supporting the LGBTQI+ community and has recently developed into a Rotary club.
- Rotary Club of Scenic Rim Sunrise, D9640
- Rotary Satellite Club of Sydney Cove Connectors, D9675
The (Provisional) Rotary Club of Global Music continues to meet online and has established a core group of interested prospective members who will work towards chartering. If you are interested in checking out the club, please email lesley.shedden@rotary9780.org
