Q. What do Nobel Laureate Muhammed Yunus, the Rotary Club of Wellington and End Plastic Soup have in common?
A. They are all part of Manila Presidential Conference 2021.

The Manila Rotary International Presidential Conference 2021, “RPC21 Manila”, is the largest of a series of four international conferences convened by Rotary International President Shekhar Mehta.

The Manila Conference will enable Rotarians and their partners to renew and reflect on their commitment to Rotary's seven areas of focus, with a particular focus on Growing Local Economies and Preserving the Environment.

Held on 26, 27 & 28 November 2021, the online conference will feature world renowned plenary speakers, including Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus from the Grameen Bank, Dr David Greenfield from the UK Circular Economy Club and Gert-Jan van Dommelen, Co-founder of EndPlasticSoup (Netherlands).

The conference will also include panel presentations, virtual fieldtrips and project presentations, including two exciting projects from Zone 8 – the Skilled Migrant Program delivered by the Rotary Club of Wellington in New Zealand and ‘Connecting Manningham’ an initiative of the Rotary Club of Templestowe and Rotaract Manningham, Victoria.
