The role of the zone Public Image team is to help you and your clubs strengthen your reach and your impact by promoting not only your projects but of you as People of Action.

This is my second year as your Regional Rotary Public Image Coordinator and over the past two years, my team and I have facilitated regular presentations online on everything related to public image from the People of Action campaign to using video to tell our Rotary stories to the basics of public image and branding. Recordings of these sessions can be accessed from not only the Rotary Zone Rotary Zone 8 website www.rotaryzone8.org under the Public Image tab and Resources; Rotary Zone 8 YouTube channel and in addition Membership Voice.

You can also learn about the basics of public image through your district’s Club Leadership Seminar or attending the Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI). RLI is the Rotarian development forum where you discover the world of Rotary opportunities. Equally you can link to our monthly learning sessions where you can also chat with a diverse group of Rotarians across the zone and beyond. Registration details for these sessions are in this newsletter, Rotary Zone 8 website as well as my Facebook page @SaritaMcLean-Rotarian. Equally there are several courses available in the Learning Centre in My Rotary. These courses are interactive, and some can be completed in less than 15 minutes making them ideal for time-poor Rotarians. Training topics include Building Rotary’s Public Image; The Rotary Brand; Our Logo: Representing Rotary; Promoting your Club as People of Action; Public Relations and your Club etc.
