This project of the Caboolture Rotary Club, District 9620, follows on from the successful R100 Australia project. It is also a fundraising project to support disadvantaged children and their families through Variety.

Literally, get your club’s details affixed to the project car, from as little as $100, to let people know 'Your Club is a proud member of the Rotary organisation'.

Your Club’s contribution to this project, also supports the Variety the children’s charity, as funds go directly to them through entry of the Rotary Car in the Variety Bash, which is also a great event providing another opportunity to raise awareness of Rotary.

Since the project commenced in November 2019, apart from having travelled around District 9620 on an almost daily basis (and despite COVID), the vehicle has been out on the roads all around Australia during 2021-22 and participated in the 2022 Variety Bash (to Birdsville via Winton, to Yeppoon).

The R100 project parameters have been expanded to promote 100 years of Rotary in Queensland as the R10-Qld project. Apart from travelling around our District for another 12 months, the vehicle will be: exhibited at our District Conference (Brisbane City Hall); entered in the 2023 BASH (Toowoomba to Cairns) ; AND attending the 2023 Rotary World Convention in Melbourne.

All Rotary Clubs in District 9620 are invited to participate in this project by sponsoring a sign with your Rotary Club’s details on the vehicle (from $100 - $1,000) refer to photos for examples of sign sizes). The vehicle may be available for display/participation at your Club’s events or for media promotions (by arrangement).

Sponsorship from local businesses has been well received to date for the development of the vehicle (Major sponsors: Jonkers Smash Repairs - paint job, Qld Signs- sign writing, and other less visible contributions just as much appreciated –business sponsor signage is displayed on the vehicle roof racks).

Commercial sponsorship (separate to Rotary Clubs sponsorship) is now also being sort to offset the future cost (maintenance and travel expenses) so if you know of any business (or associations, even Councils) that would like to be associated with Rotary and Variety the Children’s Foundation, please pass on this brochure for them to get in touch. *National businesses should keep in mind that the vehicle will attend the Rotary World Convention in Melbourne during May 2023. Interested persons can contact the Project co-ordinator Peter Brown, 0410 049 732 or email: passionate_rotarian@yahoo.com or the Caboolture Rotary Club.

Rotary Club sponsorship
