Acknowledging departing Regional Rotary Foundation team members and welcoming their replacements

The Rotary on the Move June edition signals the 2021-22 Rotary year is nearing its end and heralds the “Changing of the Guard” for some of the Regional Foundation Leadership team.

On behalf of all of the leaders and members throughout our Zone, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, I acknowledge the huge efforts and contributions of each of the key members of the Regional Rotary Foundation team whose terms are ending. Best wishes to each of you for your future Rotary journey. At the same time I extend a warm welcome to their successors who take up their roles on 1 July 2022 and I look forward to working with each of them.
End Polio Now Coordinator (EPNC):
Over the past 5 years, PDG Bob Aitken has done a wonderful job in keeping us informed about the progress of our End Polio campaign and has been a passionate advocate for contributions from districts, clubs and individual Rotarians.
PDG Murray Verso has been appointed to replace
Bob.
Endowment and Major Gifts Advisor E/MGA):
The past 3 years have seen PDG Dennis Shore doing an amazing, successful job contacting, encouraging and lifting the number of major donors throughout our zone, including a number of new Arch Klump Society (AKS) members.
PDG Bronwyn Stevens has been appointed to
replace Dennis.
Assistant Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinators (ARRFC):
Districts 9560 and 9620. PDG Greg Marlow has travelled extensively throughout both of his Districts actively and passionately promoting the Rotary Foundation. I am very grateful for his input and support. I acknowledge his personal contribution and congratulate him on becoming a member of the Arch Klump Society this year.
PDG Nick Curry has been appointed to replace Greg.
Districts 9780, 9800 and 9810. PDG Ray Herbert’s contribution over the past 3 years has been sound and steady. His support has been appreciated.
PDG Julie Mason has been appointed to replace Ray.
On behalf of the Regional Rotary Foundation Team, I also extend our best wishes to Regional Rotary Coordinator PDG Adrian Roach on the completion of his term. Thank you for your passion and contribution to Rotary in our region over the past 3 years and best wishes to you for the future.
