This project would not have been achieved without the local participation of Rotarian Doctor Nischal Pandey E-Club Connect, District 3012 who coordinated the management of the project. The local presence of Dr Pandey ensured that the funding reached the target audience.

This project provides immediate and long-term benefits for the women of the area by providing materials and equipment needed to assist in establishing and enhancing the skills of the women. Upon achieving these skills the women will be more employable, hence assisting them to be productive members of society.

Furthermore, as a result of this project, the products the women create support women and girls to improve their hygiene during their menstrual periods allowing them to continue their education and socialise without fear of being shunned. The project was completed in April 2023 with the purchase of the goods but, the usefulness of these goods is ongoing and has immeasurable benefits for women in the Varanasi area.
