ZONE 8 ROTARY FOUNDATION DINNERS 2023

PDG Jennie Herring, Endowment / Major Gifts Adviser —

Let me introduce myself. My name is Jennie Herring, Governor 2015-16 from District 9920 and I am the newly appointed Endowment / Major Gift Advisor (EMGA) for Zone 8 for 2022-25.

By PDG Jennie Herring, Endowment / Major Gifts Adviser

In this new role, one of my key goals is to grow the Foundation so that it meets the goal of $2.025 billion by 2025.

As the title implies, to achieve this goal we need to connect with passionate Rotarians, and others, who would like to contribute to the Rotary Foundation by either Major Donor gifts or Bequests.

Donations

I am pleased to announce that In November 2023 four Black Tie Rotary Foundation Recognition Dinners are being held as follows:

2 November 2023 – Christchurch

4 November 2023 - Auckland

6 November 2023 – Sydney

8 November 2023 – Brisbane

Past R I President and Foundation Trustee Chair 2023-24 Barry Rassin will be attending all four events. Barry was unable to travel to Zone 8 during his Presidential year, so it will be a wonderful opportunity for everyone to meet him

All contributors to the Foundation from 1 March 2023 to 30 September 2023 will be recognised at one of these dinners if they wish. All of these dinners are being organised locally by either the DRFC (District Rotary Foundation Chair) or the ARRFC (Assistant Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator) in the each location and will be open for all to attend, not just the contributors. More details for each event are planned to be advised in the next 1-2 months.

If you would like to learn more about how to contribute to the Rotary Foundation by either becoming a Major Donor or by setting up a Bequest, please contact either your local DRFC / EMGA Chair or myself herringjennie@gmail.com
