DAVID ANDERSON APPOINTED AS THE REGIONAL ROTARY FOUNDATION COORDINATOR FOR 2024-27
David Anderson will take on the role of Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator (RRFC) for Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands, from 1 July 2024. Appointed by President-elect Stephanie Urchick and Trustee Chair-elect Mark Maloney, in consultation with senior and regional leaders, he will take over from current RRFC Peter Garnett on completion of his three year term in the role.

Based in Victoria, Australia, David is well known throughout the Zone. He has held numerous positions at club, district and national level, including as Governor of District 9790 in 2011-12. Following his year as Governor, David has served as Zone 8 Training Coordinator 2015-18, International Assembly Training Leader 2016-17 and again in 2017-18, Assistant Rotary Co-Ordinator 2013-16 and was Deputy Chair of the 2015 Zone 8 Institute held in Melbourne. He was the RI President’s Personal Representative at the District 9465 Conference in Western Australia in 2017, the District 3310 Conference in Malaysia in 2018 and most recently, District 3410 in Jakarta, Indonesia. He was a board member of the Host Organising Committee for the 2023 Melbourne Rotary International Convention.
David has been the District Rotary Foundation Chair (DRFC) for District 9790 since July 2022. According to Rotary Foundation Trustee, Dennis Shore, David is well suited to the role of RRFC. “David has a very good knowledge and understanding of The Rotary Foundation and its programs. He is a very capable communicator and trainer with good networks across our Zone. We are delighted he accepted the invitation and are confident he will make an excellent contribution in the role” he said.
As Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator, David will be responsible for working with members of District and Zone Foundation teams to encourage and support Rotarians and clubs to participate in Rotary Foundation fund raising, programs and grant projects. He will also be a valuable resource for districts seeking timely and reliable Foundation information.
