Now in its 5th year, the Awards has become a key moment during the year to reflect on the impact that volunteers make in their communities and for people affected by disasters.

It's with great excitement and a huge amount of thanks that we announce the winners of this year's ShelterBox Volunteers Awards which were presented across four categories:

  • ShelterBox Fundraiser of the Year Award – Peter Jarvis (Rotary Club of Berri)
  • ShelterBox Volunteer Impact Award – Robert Shore (Rotary Club of Parkes)
  • ShelterBox Volunteer Excellence Award – Peter Pearce (Rotary Club of Gosford North)
  • ShelterBox Team of the Year Award – New South Wales

ShelterBox Australia CEO Mike Greenslade says: “Rotary has been beside us on our journey from day one and we are reminded of the significance of our disaster relief partnership each time we reflect on the previous year and our deployments.

“It’s supporters right across Rotary who help fund ShelterBox responses around the world – helping people who have lost their homes to disaster or conflict.”
