ROTARY’S PEACE CENTRE PROGRAM – SUPPORTING PEACE BUILDERS AROUND THE WORLD

RI Director Jessie Harman —

Rotary’s Peace Centre program is one of the very significant ways that Rotarians are supporting positive and lasting change in communities around the world.

Applications for fellowships for the 2024-25 academic year are now open. I encourage all Rotarians and Rotaractors to promote these Peace Centre Fellowship opportunities throughout your networks and to actively recruit and nominate qualified candidates.

Each year, The Rotary Foundation awards fellowships that enable peace and development professionals to develop their capacity to become catalysts for peace. The fellowships cover tuition and fees, lodging, round trip transportation, internship and field study expenses. Applicants can study master’s or certificate level programs at selected Rotary Peace Centres around the world.

Since the program began in 2002, Rotary’s Foundation has funded more than 1,600 fellows who now work in peace building and conflict resolution roles in over 140 countries. We will feel the positive benefits of their work for generations to come.

Further information and application forms are available at Peace Fellowships | Rotary International. Applications close 15 May 2023.
