It was going to be a unique experience - world-renowned artist Pam Eddy (wife of PDG Brian Eddy) as “Artist in Residence” at the 2022 District 9465 Conference in Rockingham showcasing her skills and producing a painting to be auctioned at the Conference Dinner with proceeds for the Rotary Foundation.

When COVID saw the District Conference cancelled, the District Foundation committee didn’t want to waste the opportunity and quickly moved to create an online raffle for the Painting. With promotion via Facebook and District Communication channels, tickets sold quickly to not only Rotarians but also friends, colleagues and family who already had the wall space planned for the spectacular acrylic oil painting of Point Peron.

Thanks to Pam’s talent and generosity, and the support from those purchasing tickets, $2,385 was raised to support our Foundation’s humanitarian efforts in Disaster Response and Polio Eradication.
