Have you seen the Rotary Fun Ute out in your community? Thought we would share with you the great travels the Rotary Fun Ute has been involved with in the Community.
Volunteering is about having fun and the Rotary Fun Ute travelled to some great Rotary events, listening to some great guest speakers and wherever it went hearing lots of inspiring stories.
The Rotary Fun Ute had been on route to one of the many events below:
- On March 7 2023 the Rotary Fun Ute travelled to Murray Bridge South Australia for Rotary Club of Murray Bridge meeting to hear Greg Page (original Yellow Wiggle) and founder of Heart of the Nation speak about the partnership project between Rotary and Heart of the Nation - Defibrillator project - to save lives.
- On March 8 2023 the Rotary Fun Ute travelled to Pavilion on the Park South Tce. Adelaide to attend International Women's Day Breakfast - Women in Rotary SA Chapter - Wonderful morning, 160 in attendance to listen to inspirational Melanie Bagg CEO of National Youth Science Forum (NYSF).
- On March 11 2023 the Rotary Fun Ute travelled to Charles Campbell College to listen to Past RI President, Ian Riseley present on Protecting the Environment - a Forum - We thank Ian for bringing Environment as the seventh area of focus into Rotary and great the day was a great showcase of many environmental projects happening within Rotary Clubs in this State. Well done Rotary Club of St Peters for organising this event.
- On March 13 2023 the Rotary Fun Ute travelled to Rotary Club of St Peters to listen to guest speaker Brigette Treloar talk about her wonderful Rotary experience being recipient of Australian Rotary Health Scholarship for Rural Clinical School Students. An inspiring lady who will be a wonderful rural doctor in the future, she is in her last year of studying medicine. Rotary Club of St Peters sponsored and supported Brigette in her passion to be a rural doctor.
- On March 14 2023 the Rotary Fun Ute travelled down South to Noarlunga and visited the Rotary Club of Morphett Vale and saw their wonderful new oval sign on the South Adelaide Panthers FC oval. South Adelaide Football Club.
So, if you see the Rotary Fun Ute out in your community, please say hi to the Rotary member who is traveling with it and ask them how you can have fun volunteering in Rotary.
