You can walk as an individual or part of a team, raise much needed funds and improve your overall fitness.

The event, organised through District 9800 in Victoria, runs through the month of October. Open to everyone everywhere, walkers seek sponsorship and log their walking distances on the user-friendly ‘Rotary Walk with us’ virtual platform. If you want, you can also post photos, blog and, for the more competitive walkers, compete for positions on the ‘Rotary Walk with Us’ league tables.

The walkathon has been a huge success during COVID, raising more than $240,000 over the past two years. Add in the Gates Foundation match and that’s an impressive number of children who will never get polio.
