Rotary Pacific's 2025 Zone Conference will take place at the Twin Towns Conference and Event Centre, Tweed Heads, from 31 October to 2 November, 2025. And Conference Convenor, RIDE Jennifer Scott warmly invites all Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, alumni, partners and friends to come together on the Gold Coast and “connect, share, grow”.

When the conference was launched in Queenstown, last month, I spoke about hoping to see all sixteen countries of our zone represented when we meet at Tweed Heads.  

I want us all to hear the languages spoken in our zone, to learn about the projects that you are proud to manage and to showcase the important work being done by Rotary and Rotaract members.   I challenged Rotary leaders present to think about ways they could help make that happen.

Do you work with project leaders in other countries in our Rotary South Pacific zone?  Who can you talk to about ways to invite attendees from our island clubs?  

As I walked the Chemin de Puys in France a few months ago, I reflected that the challenges we face in our zone can be compared to that tough walk.  If we are prepared to put in the effort, if each of our clubs follows a plan and can visualise our destination, we can succeed.

The message hasn't changed, the need hasn't changed, the "why" for Rotary hasn't changed.  That's why we need to grow our membership so we have more of us to share their ideas on how to achieve the goals in our Rotary International strategic plan.

I would love to see you at the Rotary South Pacific Conference.  Whether you walk, fly, come by car, motorcycle, or bicycle, come and connect with new and old friends.  Be inspired and excited to connect across the miles, across generations and across cultures.  Our event will be one to remember.  Our Conference Chair PDG Ingrid Waugh and her team are already working hard on ensuring the 2025 Zone Conference will be one to remember.
