We would also like readers to share their experiences and stories on ‘best practices’ in their Clubs, what has worked for their Clubs in gaining new members, retaining members, how they raise Rotary’s Image in the community and how they support The Rotary Foundation.

Two years ago, intrepid Rotarians Joyce and Phil Ogden from the Rotary Club of South Launceston rode a tandem bicycle 3,000km ride from Perth to Adelaide across the Nullarbor. Their efforts raised $38,000 for End Polio.

'NO CHILD SHOULD DIE FROM A LACK OF OXYGEN' - THE FIJI OXYGEN PROJECT

An alternative method to supply oxygen to Health Clinics and rural Hospitals in Fiji was ambitious and provided unexpected life saving opportunities for the people of Fiji. This project proved to be very successful resulting in great team work within the Rotary Club of Remuera New Zealand, fantastic support from other Rotary Clubs and a very successful partnership with CureKids.
