Super 8 Cultural Festival - 2025

We recently had over 100 of our boys participate and compete in the 2025 Super 8 Cultural which our school hosted at the Sir Howard Morrison Centre.

This was a fantastic venue for the boys from our Super 8 brother schools to come together and perform within a professional environment in the various cultural disciplines.


We had some awesome results which were as follows.


1st Place - Kapa Haka

1st Place - Senior Solo Music - Toby James

1st Place - Junior Solo Music - Oskar hay

1st Place - Senior Theatresports

2nd Place - Dance - Chadwick Quiroga

2nd Place - Senior Oratory - Hareteimana Ehau

2nd Place - Junior Art - Phillip McKenzie

3rd Place - Drama

3rd Place - Junior Oratory - Ux Aguilar

3rd Place - Junior Debating

3rd Place -  Group Music

5th Place - Junior Theatresports

6th Place - Art Senior

6th Place - Chess

7th Place - Senior Debating



1st Place Overall (Winners of the Super 8 Cultural Festival Shield!)


As a school we entered every event and managed to take out the overall 1st Place award, bringing home the shield for the 1st time.This was a fantastic achievement for our kura.


It’s important to acknowledge everyone who was involved from all of our students who participated, teachers who trained our groups etc, catering team, maintenance team and the staff at Sir Howard Morrison Centre.
