Rotorua Boys’ High School is proud to celebrate a historic achievement as our First XV rugby team have been crowned national champions, cementing their place among the very best in New Zealand schoolboy rugby.

This outstanding result is the culmination of months of hard work, discipline, and teamwork. Guided by an exceptional coaching and management team, the players have demonstrated unwavering commitment to excellence, both on and off the field. Throughout the season, the First XV have showcased a brand of rugby that reflects the spirit of Raukura.

The road to the national title was fiercely contested. The team faced some of the strongest rugby schools in the country, rising to each challenge with resilience and determination. In the final, the First XV displayed incredible focus and composure under pressure, executing their game plan with precision to secure a well-deserved victory.

Beyond the scoreboard, this triumph represents more than just rugby success. It reflects the values of whanaungatanga (brotherhood), mana (pride), and perseverance that are at the heart of Rotorua Boys’ High School.
