Overall, the 2024-2025 season demonstrated the Raukura 1st XI's competitive spirit, emerging talent that is setting a solid foundation for our future cricketing endeavours.

The Raukura 1st XI cricket team entered the Lakelands Senior Cricket Championship during the 2024/25 season. They engaged in both the 40-over and T20 competitions, competing against teams from Rotorua, Taupō & Whakatane. Raukura's involvement provided valuable experience and exposure to adult senior-level Cricket. The team finished 5th in both T20 & 40 over formats at the end of the round robins. 

The Super 8 Cricket tournament in New Plymouth had us finish a respectable 5th. This competition was extremely competitive & our boy’s victory’s against New Plymouth & Gisborne were excellent performances. The team's growth and potential within the regional Cricket landscape has been impressive with 18 of our players representing BOP Lakelands, ND Māori, ND Academy & Aotearoa Māori School Boys across this season.
