Year 9 Cohort

Well done to our year 9 boys who have had a great start to their year at Rotorua Boys’ High School. Thank you to all the whanau who have attended our events so far, it is obvious our boys have a lot of support and this is going to help them tremendously with their progress and success at High School.  

The boys have already experienced their first tabloid days and it was awesome to see so many Year 9 boys getting involved, challenging themselves and having a great time!

Your son’s attendance will directly impact his achievement at school this year.  Please ensure your son is at school every day, unless there is a justified reason for his absence.  In this case, please inform either the office or his House Group teacher, as to why he is away.  

On Friday the 28th of March we took our 12 Jubilee Scholars to Mount Maunganui, for surfing lessons, the instructors commented on the wonderful listening skills of our boys and were impressed how much they progressed in such a short amount of time. We also got the boys to do a litter pick up in Pilot Bay while we were there.
