On Wednesday 10th August four students and I travelled to Tauranga to compete in the Bay of Plenty Junior division two competition.

They had spent the winter training at the Rotorua Badminton hall on Tuesdays after school. We had to play six schools which consisted of two double and four singles matches. 

The students played their best Badminton and we won against five schools and drew against Bethlehem college. 

On a countback, we won the Gold Medal. 

Congratulations go to Kathlyn Dennysion, Christine Colinares, Misshyn Walker and Siniva Teague for all their hard work and commitment.
