RYPEN CAMP 2022
This was a weekend camp for selected Year 10 students aimed at developing new life skills in a team environment through physical activity. Students experienced a rich learning environment and were exposed to indoor presentations, guest speakers held at the Okataina Education Centre.
This course was designed for rangatahi who show qualities of courage and perseverance in everyday life, and provides confidence and team building. Rangatahi were physically and mentally challenged but had lots of fun. A total of 48 students were drawn from Rotorua’s high schools.
Students selected from Year 10 to attend this course were: Charlotte Grainger-Allen, Ashanti Mercep, Sophie Orr-Franklyn, Waipohutu Rangawhenua, Upuia Richel, Sharvay-Faith Rowe-Flavell, Te Aomihia Waiwai-Fleming, Liliana Wills.
