We travelled to Hamilton on Tuesday 21st February to Waikato University to attend the Introduction Day where our Prefects learnt more about an exciting learning opportunity they will participate in this year.

This event was a fun and interactive day held at the Gallagher Academy of Arts facility where our students met the Waikato Management School Leadership Academy team, and the students and staff from the other schools participating in the programme came together for the first time.

The students also were given information about the programme, including detail on the University paper Introduction to Leadership Communication (LCOMM101), and an outline of key dates for the rest of the year.

We look forward to more days to visit with other peers and especially to visit the University as these new learning opportunities are always exciting to learn from. Thank you for being such fabulous representatives of our kura - Mufaro, Tiana and Arahia. We missed Zoe on this ocassion however what a fantastic team they will be this year!
