Congratulations on getting to the end of the last ten week term of the year.

Sarah Davis —

Despite some interruptions from Covid Level 2, our term has managed to track some degree of normality with assessment week, weekly sports and even the school production. Thank you for the flexibility shown under some quite different circumstances.

We have worked hard to communicate with whanau around academic progress. Term 4 has been slightly extended with NCEA externals now starting a week later 16th November. Many of the practically based subjects have also extended deadlines. Please make sure your daughter is tracking her NCEA credits closely. We are here to assist in any way possible.

Term 4 is also a time of celebration. Our Senior Prize Giving will be held in the PAC 7pm 11 November. This will be also the last day of the senior time table.

We welcome Ka Pai Kai who will be providing lunches in school for 2020 to 2021. This will start with our junior school from 16th November. We are still developing some of the systems we need to run this programme, but it is likely that orders will be taken in whanau time for the day. Please make sure your daughter is at school on time so she is able to place her lunch order for the day.

Year 9 and 10 will have some assessment time coming up after the seniors leave and finish the year with an EOTC programme. The last day of school for the year is Friday 4 December.

Thank you for all for getting through a busy Term 3. Our adaptability and determination to maintain continuity of learning was something to be admired.

I hope that you all have time for a break during the September holiday.

Whaia ko te matauranga hei whitiki te iwi toa ai.
