9Awhi students and staff have just started our Mārakai project. The Mārakai project is a learning hub initiative to provide practical learning experiences for our students. 

9Awhi teachers - Ms Hy, Ms Hill, Ms London and Mrs Cunningham are providing an integrated learning approach across the key areas of Science, Maths and Social Studies. 

We also have some awesome support form our very own builder Jordan Ormsby. The purpose of the project is to research, plan, create and manage a Mārakai and to create sustainable garden practices.
