From your 2022 Deputy Head Girl

Carly Ohia —

Kia Ora Whanau, firstly I would like to wish you all good health and safety during these times of uncertainty with Covid. Looking back on the very busy week we’ve had I am very pleased to say how successful the tabloid sports day was with my fellow yr 13 sisters and our year 9s. We were all so eager to get out there and meet you and the day was so awesome. The sneak peek we had of our junior girls excited me for the year we have to come, and I hope it will be as energetic as you all were!

On another note I would like to give a huge congratulations to all the girls who have secured their place in the 2022 prefects team! We have a very big role to play in our last year of kura and I’m very glad we have such a strong team to pursue that responsibility. I’m so proud of everyone who put their names forward for each position and was very impressed at all the ideas you had to implement into Rautāwhiri. I wish all my fellow yr 13 sisters the best of luck for our last year of high school and I congratulate you all as we step into our roles.

That's all from me Whānau but you will definitely be hearing from me again!

Kia haumanu, kia ora, kia ngawari.

Be safe, be healthy, and be kind.
