From the Principal....

Sarah Davis —

Our study break has definitely come at the right time with a particularly nasty stomach bug and flu that has been in the school. Term 2 did have a lot more sense of continuity than Term 1 with school assemblies sports, culture and art activities basically back to normal.

It will be important to take sometime this study break to rest and replenish reserve for the second half of the year.

Term 3 will start with the RBHS production of 'In the Heights'. Reports coming out of rehearsals is that it is an excellent production. Please contact the RBHS office for details on how to book to see this. Later in the term Raukura Kapa Haka will be defending their national title at the national kapa haka competition.

Year 11, 12 and 13 will be completing their preliminary examination practice during week 4 and 5. Details of these assessment times will be published early in term 3.

I would like to thank everyone for what was a term where we attempted to make up for the disruptions of Term1. I know for the senior students the time is certainly ticking with NCEA externals coming up in November. We are always here to help.

Please be in touch if there is anything we can do to assist

He waka eke noa
