Wai Morrison — Feb 19, 2021

In Week 3 of this Term all Year 9 students were given the opportunity to attend our Noho Marae in magical Maketu. The purpose of the noho was to enhance ‘whakawhanaungatanga’ (togetherness/relationship building).

Students were involved in many different activities around the concept of ‘whakawhanaungatanga’. Included were hauora (health and well-being), sportacular, problem solving, team building and landmarks of significance to Te Arawa.

The girls thoroughly enjoyed their time and the feedback received from whānau and our students was positive. Thank you to all the staff who attended during the 4 days to make it such a success!
