The Year 10’s have finished their Design posters that showcase “Who I Am!” They learned how to utilize many tools in Photoshop, incorporate non-digital resources, and heaps of other technical skills needed to produce a finished product.

VISUAL ART AND PAINTING

The Year 9 ART class has been learning about control of wet and dry media. Here are some of our completed shading projects. The students have even learned how to professionally mount their work for display!

FOOD TECHNOLOGY

Year 11 Food Safety Practical Assessment - students had to prepare a chicken dish being careful NOT to cross contaminate. What a great job they all did :)

Year 12’s are learning about Gluten free food, they are enjoying the GF options that we have been preparing.

Year 13’s are learning about coffee and practising their coffee skills, and then in the food practicals making Cafe food. Yum!!

FASHION TECHNOLOGY

A selection of completed cushions from year 9 and 10 students.

Year 9 students initially learnt basic skills to create their heat pack then have moved on to designing their own cushions.

Year 10 students have been learning the art of patchworking to create their own individual designed bed pillows. Consistency with drawing, cutting and sewing has been the key to success. Year 10 students have now moved onto making their own PJ pants out of Satin fabric. They are learning to sew on a curve and use the overlockers. In term 2 they will learn the art of upcycling a pair of charity shop jeans to design and create a storage solution.
