This year, the RJHS Arts Wairua are creating a 'Formal Outfit Bank' in the hopes of providing students the opportunity to access formal wear and encourage the attendance to the Year 10 formal.

Through our initial student feedback form, 50% of Year 10s said that they would like to have the option to be loaned an outfit for the formal. We really want to ensure that the formal is accessible to everyone in these tough living times.

We are searching for donations of all sizes of formal attire in good, clean condition such as:

• Men's and Women's shoes
• Formal dresses
• Suit jackets
• Dress pants
• Collared shirts
• Anything 1920’s themed (hats, suspenders etc)

If this is something you could help with, we thank you immensely! There are a couple of options - you could send your item to school with your student and they can drop it to the Ngoi office, or reception will happily deliver the donations to the correct place on your behalf.

We are open for donations right now, and will continue to take donations until the school holiday so we can catalogue our bank.
