Over the weekend, a number of our RHS Dance troupes competed at the 'Dance NZ Made' regional dance competition in Cambridge.

It was an exciting weekend of performances by students from all over the Waikato, and all of our students represented our kura to a very high standard.

We are thrilled to announce that our RHS Jazz Troupe were announced the Year 7/8 Team Champions! They were proudly coached by RHS Senior High Student Kyla Pearson, an accomplished dancer in her own right. Huge congratulations to Kayla Lotz, Ava Periam, Brianna Pope, Sophie Skipwith and Brylee Stowers.
Additionally, our Hip Hop team, coached by another experienced and talented dancer, Senior High student Mackenzie Campbell, came 2nd in their division - following on from their recent win at the NZCAF Hip Hop comp in Auckland. Congratulations to Georgia Rink, Ava Lochore, Ava Periam, Marilyn Rapana, Brianna Pope and Mercy La'a,
