Noa'ia, Tālofa lava, Mauri, Kia orāna, Mālō e lelei, Talofa, Ni sa bula vinaka, Fakaalofa lahi atu, Mālo ni, Halo olgeta, Halo Oloketa, Tēnā koutou kātoa and warm Pacific greetings to you all parents and ‘aiga of Rototuna High Schools’ Pacific students.

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to our new and existing Pasifika families to our school community at our fono/uipaanga (family meeting) on Tuesday 4 June, 5.30 - 7.30 pm in the Staffroom.

The purpose of this fono/uipaanga is to: 

• meet and connect with you
• hear how the start to the year has gone for your child
• discuss your aspirations
• create an opportunity for you to meet some key staff who will support your child throughout their journey with us as well as organisations that focus on providing exciting opportunities for Pasifika students
• enjoy rich talanoa over some food.

We have invited representatives from The University of Waikato, Waikato Pasifika Teachers Association and NZQA Pasifika Team to come and share their perspectives and experiences about learning and achievement.

Pacific Island food and soft drinks will be provided.
