Mock Exam Week: 16 - 20 September

RSHS —

Students entered into external exams will have their practice exams during Week 9 (16 - 20 Sept) of this term.

This will be for the whole week - Monday through Friday. On Thursday and Friday we will also be holding the second sitting of the CAA testing for Numeracy and Literacy. Timetabled classes will be suspended for this week for the practice exams and CAA tests to occur. There will also be some practical workshops during the week for students to finish work, particularly in the portfolio subjects. The practice exams will run under exam conditions and will be held in Te Rangimareikura (The Large Theatre).

Students have been given a timetable builder for this week so that they can plan out which exams or workshops they need to be at school for. Students should go home at the end of their exam or workshop. There will be a study space available for students who need to catch buses. Please ensure arrangements are made if they are needing to sit an exam in the afternoon and might finish at 4pm.

Please ask your young person to show you their personal exam/workshop timetable for the week. If you have any questions about the practice exam week please get in touch with your child’s Kaiarahi (Advisor).

If your child does not have a practice exam or a workshop they should be working from home to finish their assignments.
