WYSTAG (Waikato Youth Secondary Tertiary Advisory Group)
Dyuti Duppati has been selected to be one of the members of the WYSTAG (Waikato Youth Secondary Tertiary Advisory Group) that works closely with the Ministry of Education.
While honing the leadership essential skills of effective communication, teamwork, critical thinking and adaptability they are also assigned to identify current underlying issues in the education system and how they could level up for the future.
Over the past few months Dyuti has collaborated with a group of students from various schools who have been working together to understand the main challenges that students face in schooling. These included levelling up for the future and elevating attendance and engagement.
Dyuti states “Being a part of WYSTAG has helped me to grow in my leadership journey and take on new skills. I am looking forward to continuing improving my skills as an individual while also contributing to establish a stronger foundation for the future education of our students”
