Every year we hold a Senior High School Ball. This year will mark our 3rd official school ball.

To support students and whānau to prepare for this event, and to avoid any unnecessary confusion or disappointment, we wish to provide some clear guidelines relating to Ball attendance.

The 2021 Senior High Ball is currently scheduled for Oct 30th and will be held at an off-site venue.

In 2021, the following expectations apply:

• Only Year 12 & 13 students can attend the Ball.

• All students wishing to attend the Ball, must have a minimum of 94 % attendance. PLEASE NOTE: We have approximately 155 school days prior to the Ball. If a student misses 6% of this total, they will have been absent for approximately 2 whole weeks. (The attendance requirement does not include any justified absences such as medical).

• Ball tickets must be purchased in order to attend.

• All partners attending from outside of the Senior High School, must be approved prior to purchasing a ticket.

• The School reserves the right to refuse entry to or participation in the Ball where serious issues with learning or behaviour arise.
