Cross Country 2023
This year, due to construction and field space, this event will be open to anyone who wishes to race competitively.
The races will be held at Korikori Park on Friday 12th May from 1.30pm. Students who wish to compete in this event will need to complete the Google from which was sent out on Monday through Schoology. The race distances this year will be:
- Year 7/8 students 3000m (2 x 1.5km laps)
- Junior girls (under 16 on 31st Dec 2022) - 3000m (2 x 1.5km laps)
- Junior boys (under 16 on 31st Dec 2022)- 4000m
- Senior girls (U20 on 31st Dec 2022) - 4000m
- Senior boys (U20 on 31st Dec 2022) - 6000m (3 x 1.5km laps)
Students who qualify in the top 3-5 will have the opportunity to compete at the Zone champs (Year 9 - 13 students only) on Wednesday 24th May at Tahuna Park.
Year 7/8 students will have the opportunity to compete at the WIMS cross country in Term 3.
