Rototuna High Schools

KORERO FROM MEL

This week we have been celebrating those students who have most demonstrated our CLOAK values this year. On Tuesday evening, we presented our CLOAK trophy winners with their awards, as well as those exceptional students receiving Iwi Leader, Deputy Principal and Principal awards for their respective Iwi. Throughout the rest of the week we have awarded the CLOAK certificates for each advisory. Congratulations to all students who received awards and also to those that might not have, but have still done their absolute best this year to live our CLOAK values and achieve their best in their personal and academic achievement.

To everyone in our school community, I wish you a joyous holiday season filled with warmth, laughter and cherished moments with loved ones. I hope it is a time of rejuvenation and we experience some good summer weather, ready for the adventures that the new year will bring.

To our Year 10s, this is an exciting time for you and we look forward to what your new adventures will bring, whether that be here at Rototuna Senior High School, or elsewhere. We have loved getting to know you and being part of your progress at this important time of your lives. To the whānau of our departing students, thank you all for being an integral part of our school's journey.

Happy holidays and here's to a promising new year ahead!
