Rototuna High Schools

KORERO FROM MIRANDA

Nau mai hoki mai Rototuna e te Whānau,

Welcome back to Week Two, Term Two!

It has been great to reconnect with all our students before the busy months ahead. At the moment our students are polishing and improving their work to hand in before Semester 2 begins (June 18th).

As I have mentioned, unlike previous years, our students cannot resubmit work for higher grades (apart from a Not Achieved to Achieved). For this reason it is really important for students to work closely with teachers to understand any feedback they get and how to respond to it effectively. As parents and caregivers you will all know the wonderful things your young person is capable of. We are looking forward to sharing their successes with you.

Finally, just a reminder that there are a few days that the school will be closed for business in Term Two, starting with a nation-wide NCEA Teacher Only Day on Wednesday in Week Three.

Ngā mihi,

Miranda
