NZQA Update
Last week the Government decided that students disrupted by 16 days of COVID-19 lockdown this year will be eligible to receive Learning Recognition Credits (LRCs).
We have received confirmation from NZQA that our students have met that threshold and will be eligible.
Students can expect to gain 1 LRC per 5 credits achieved through assessment, up to a maximum of:
8 LRCs at NCEA Level 1
6 LRCs and Levels 2 and 3
I know this will be welcome news and in part will take some pressure off our students at what can be a very stressful time of year.
