RJHS Back to School eNews 2023

Kia ora to all of our new whānau and students and to all of those who are returning in 2023. As a staff we are excited about getting started next Tuesday (January 31) by welcoming our new students and then having everyone back on Thursday (February 2).

For all students starting with us please arrive at school on Tuesday by 8.30am and gather outside the main entrance to school. Around 8.45am we will welcome everyone and guide you into our pōwhiri. Whānau are welcome to attend the pōwhiri and after the students have gone to class you can join us for a cup of tea and bikkie also. Please note that there will not be an opportunity to meet your child/ren’s teacher advisor on Tuesday.

Getting back to school is always a busy time for whānau and our first eNews bulletin (this one) is aimed at giving you all the essential information you need to make sure the start of school is a positive one for you and your young person/people coming to us.

We have staff in reception from tomorrow (Thursday 26 Jan) and we will be answering phones too so feel free to reach out if you have a question.
