Welcome back to Term 3, everyone. Our second week back has started positively after a challenging week first up, mostly due to some WiFi issues which you may or may not have heard about. These are close to being sorted now and students and staff are settling into a new timetable and structure for learning with a positive mindset.
I understand that changes are always challenging in any organisation and we are going to continue to work proactively with students and whānau to keep you all in the loop regarding the changes we have made to our learning structures and systems. This will include sharing recent achievement data and opportunities to come in and ask questions about what we are doing. The next few weeks are busy with our open day visits and enrolments opening but keep an eye out for opportunities towards the middle of the term.
It was really nice to get out and support some of our football and both of our rugby teams on the weekend. Sport is so important in our young people’s lives and such an important part of us as Kiwis too, so seeing everyone out there was really cool.
A reminder that we have another staff only day coming up this term on Friday 4 September.
